The following chart shows the order of subjects as they are introduced in the program at the Barber Styling Institute. The chart also shows the number of class hours spent on each subject. The remaining hours in the course are spent doing practical work, demonstration, supervised practice and study. The total number of clock and/or credit hours for each program is 1250.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of various payment programs. BSI offers in-house student financing at a four-percent interest rate. BSI is also a recognized institution of learning and qualifies for educational loans, J.T.PA., O.V.R. and veteran's benefits. Monthly payments and semester payments are also available.
